When Dorukhan Sefaaddin came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Sürmenespor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorukhan Sefaaddin couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Ahmet Hafiz Özgen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hurşit Tümerkin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hafiz Özgen in the 26th minute of play forced Sürmenespor's goalkeeper Hurşit Tümerkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Altan Cihannur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sürmenespor's supporters rose to their feet, but Altan Cihannur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halit Özdağ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sürmenespor's Nuralp Bucuk got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Halit Özdağ was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Altan Cihannur capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Altan Cihannur really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. If Olcay Orkun Sinan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Hafiz Özgen scored 3-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hurşit Tümerkin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 48th play minutes Olcay Orkun Sinan shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Hurşit Tümerkin and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Altan Cihannur to strike the kick off in the second half. İsrafil Oksu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Halit Özdağ. Malazgirt SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Acar Özgu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malazgirt SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sürmenespor the free kick. In the 60th minute, Acar Özgu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, Dorukhan Sefaaddin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Halit Özdağ was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dorukhan Sefaaddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. One of Sürmenespor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Malazgirt SK:s goal. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, Malazgirt SK's Durmuş Cumali got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hurşit Tümerkin. Halit Özdağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Altan Cihannur in the 80th minute of play. If Dorukhan Sefaaddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Olcay Orkun Sinan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Sürmenespor's goal looked a bit too open when Olcay Orkun Sinan came free, but Hurşit Tümerkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sürmenespor booed when Malazgirt SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duman Akgüngör didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Malazgirt SK getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Anıl Cenk Akağan hit a great ball. Halit Özdağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Altan Cihannur in the 101st minute of the match. The Sürmenespor supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Malazgirt SK's performance. The match ended with a win for Malazgirt SK.
