After 3 played minutes Southall United got a freekick which was hit by Darius Beasley. In the 5th match minute, Amman Towers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Abbotts to maneuver through the defense. Reuben Browne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Abbotts in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Amman Towers United getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Lucas Abbotts hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kris Morley in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Spike Seward prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Southall United's Reuben Browne got control of the ball when Norman Wilkinson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Damien Davies fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southall United's protests and gave Damien Davies a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Amman Towers United booed when Southall United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damien Davies didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spike Seward took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Grigg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kirk Wardell fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amman Towers United's protests and gave Kirk Wardell a yellow card for diving instead. 39 minutes into the game, Walter Grigg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Spike Seward was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amman Towers United's Lucas Abbotts got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Southall United getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jonathan Clemence hit a great ball. Norman Wilkinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reuben Browne having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walter Grigg was the one to do the kick off. Ron Botham struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Reuben Browne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amman Towers United. In the 57thth minute of the game Walter Grigg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amman Towers United's Spike Seward was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute, Ron Botham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Damien Davies was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. In the 63rd match minute, Southall United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damien Davies to maneuver through the defense. Reuben Browne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Abbotts in the 74th minute of the match. Norman Wilkinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Abbotts in the 77th minute of play forced Southall United's goalkeeper Reuben Browne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kris Morley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Ashley Rundell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Southall United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Spike Seward showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Morley, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Kris Morley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Spike Seward managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Southall United's Kris Morley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Norman Wilkinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reuben Browne having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Southall United's zone, Norman Wilkinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reuben Browne came out of the goal and Norman Wilkinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Amman Towers United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Southall United's performance. The match ended with a win for Southall United.
