The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 9 minutes, Sansone Poso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. America De Cali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sansone Poso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dario Wilhelm came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by America De Cali's Sansone Poso. But to his dismay, Sansone Poso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sansone Poso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Wilhelm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Sansone Poso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sansone Poso in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Wilhelm saved Cascade Park West from getting behind. Waldo Renteria kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Sansone Poso came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sansone Poso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Wilhelm was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 41st minute Sansone Poso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Cambranes charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Cambranes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, America De Cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Cambranes to maneuver through the defense. America De Cali's Ioritz Hernainz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amir Lee in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 78th minute Ronaldo Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Messi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Wilhelm. Cascade Park West's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Messi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the referee ended the match the America De Cali players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
