The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolf Stevens got free with Gelu Crăciunaș in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Portus Ganda getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Stijn Bellinkx hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Lucrețiu Pârâianu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC AdibA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucrețiu Pârâianu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Horea Pintea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC AdibA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portus Ganda the free kick. After 27 played minutes FC AdibA got a freekick which was hit by Horea Pintea. After a rather tough play, Portus Ganda's Rolf Stevens got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Leonard Morozan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of FC AdibA booed when Portus Ganda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf Stevens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerrit Diependaele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Păltineanu in the 44th minute of play. After the first half FC AdibA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Leonard Morozan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Morozan got free with Gerrit Diependaele in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Portus Ganda's Gerrit Diependaele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Portus Ganda from getting a goal against them. Gerrit Diependaele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horaţiu Stroici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lennert Van Den Bosch fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portus Ganda's protests and gave Lennert Van Den Bosch a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Portus Ganda got a freekick which was hit by Lennert Van Den Bosch. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horaţiu Stroici in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerrit Diependaele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC AdibA's Horaţiu Stroici got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Stevens in the 87th minute of play forced FC AdibA's goalkeeper Gelu Crăciunaș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Portus Ganda's Gerrit Diependaele got control of the ball when Leonard Morozan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC AdibA booed when Portus Ganda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf Stevens didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FC AdibA's Horaţiu Stroici in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
