Oscar Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nejat Karasu in the 9th minute of play. Desqladores's Baldomiro Isadore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordanis Anastasiadis in the 17th minute of play. Baldomiro Isadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nesor Abadie in the 20th minute of play. Oscar Frascuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ginyo Petrinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Nesor Abadie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Octavia's supporters rose to their feet, but Nesor Abadie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Isadore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordanis Anastasiadis in the 31st minute of play forced Desqladores's goalkeeper Baldomiro Isadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Octavia's Oscar Frascuelo got control of the ball when Ali Nejat Karasu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iordanis Anastasiadis scored 0-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Isadore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iordanis Anastasiadis was the one to do the kick off. Octavia's Oscar Frascuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylvester Buccino in the 63rd minute of play. If Nesor Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaueko Abechuco charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaueko Abechuco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Gaueko Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 76 minutes, Ali Nejat Karasu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desqladores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Nejat Karasu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baldomiro Isadore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iordanis Anastasiadis in the 78th minute. Nesor Abadie kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Desqladores's Severo Kiliz got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Ali Nejat Karasu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Desqladores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Oscar Frascuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Nejat Karasu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Octavia's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Cordarin came free, but Oscar Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
