When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrián Espadas made a kick off. Soroca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hisingstads BK's Erik Friberg was substituted for Fidel Frances. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Răzvan Necula hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jamie Slegers during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 88 minutes into the game, Hisingstads BK's Szymon Parzysz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Armani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Tor Holm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Răzvan Necula's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Lisandro Beltxe got a free kick in the 97th minute. Zézinho Vasconcelos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Armani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Soroca F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
