Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jan-Moritz Busse kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes in the game Vaklin Dobrinski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ognyan Klyashev. Vaklin Dobrinski made in the 4th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Radko Bezhanski immediately put the ball in play. Robin Erbler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georgi Asparuhov in the 5th minute of play. Krzysztof Marek lost his temper 6 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to U21 Austria getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Krzysztof Marek hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Yonko Devendzhiev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robin Erbler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, U21 Bulgaria's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Moser. In the 27th minute Timo Kaltenbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Bonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match U21 Austria got a corner. U21 Bulgaria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Levandowsky to make the kick off.
