Rene Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radamel-Falcao García in the 15th minute of the match. Bruno Fonso might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Duarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Fonso in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Fonso in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Duarte saved E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® from getting behind. Lucas Duarte made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Bruno Fonso sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Fonso made a kick off. If Radamel-Falcao García had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute.
