When Paulo Oliviero fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vikingos FC's protests and gave Paulo Oliviero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Intimos de Reynoso booed when Vikingos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Oliviero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Intimos de Reynoso defense, Segundo Balendin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oliver Arrelucea. The Intimos de Reynoso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliver Arrelucea should have stopped the shot. If Rosendo Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Rosendo Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Arrelucea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Vikingos FC got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Estevez. After a rather tough play, Vikingos FC's Paulo Oliviero got a free kick in the 26th minute. Segundo Balendin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oliver Arrelucea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Balendin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vikingos FC booed when Intimos de Reynoso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claris Villaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Pedro Arrelucea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Intimos de Reynoso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vikingos FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Intimos de Reynoso's Pedro Arrelucea got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Vikingos FC's Paulo Oliviero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Intimos de Reynoso. The Intimos de Reynoso players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vikingos FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Segundo Balendin made a kick off. Vikingos FC's Bernabe Fagildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Vieitez in the 65th minute of play. Oliver Arrelucea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Estevez in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Intimos de Reynoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Arrelucea to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Intimos de Reynoso's Oliver Arrelucea got control of the ball when Segundo Balendin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosendo Estevez got free with Oliver Arrelucea in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Intimos de Reynoso's Oliver Arrelucea got control of the ball when Segundo Balendin tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Vikingos FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Dario Muno hit a great ball.
