The referee ignored U21 Austria's protests and gave Rouven Bauer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, U21 Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rouven Bauer to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 29 minutes, Marek Täll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Estonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Täll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Austria's zone, Silver Oks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Erbler came out of the goal and Silver Oks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute Marek Täll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Erbler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the U21 Austria defense, Heiko Ettur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robin Erbler. The U21 Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robin Erbler should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, U21 Austria's Timo Kaltenbach got a free kick in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Marek Täll managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Estonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Marek Täll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Erbler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, U21 Austria's Timo Plum got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, U21 Estonia's Ilmar Lõvi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robin Erbler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Olejmeulen in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elar Villems prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 played minutes U21 Austria got a freekick which was hit by Michael Olejmeulen. In the 86th minute, U21 Austria's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ilmar Lõvi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Teet Annimäe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Robin Erbler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Erbler made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Teet Annimäe sent off a good shot on target. U21 Estonia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
