The supporters of Goiás Esporte Clube booed when Real Brasil F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogério Alagoano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lenílson Vianna having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Isac in the 8th minute of play forced Real Brasil F.C.'s goalkeeper Lenílson Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Daniel Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Real Brasil F.C.'s goalie and right to Eliézer Barros. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Real Brasil F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Real Brasil F.C.'s Lenílson Vianna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Real Brasil F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 19th match minute, Goiás Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Simão da Silveira made a precise shot to the right of Mané Quirino. Goiás Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Dênis Faria hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Hélio Arósio, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Goiás Esporte Clube's Dong Xuan Xi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lenílson Vianna in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 34th minute, Simão da Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mané Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Rogério Alagoano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lenílson Vianna having to make a save. Lenílson Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogério Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Emerson Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Lenílson Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Alagoano in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogério Alagoano in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lenílson Vianna saved Real Brasil F.C. from getting behind. Lenílson Vianna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 65 minutes of play Real Brasil F.C.'s Wilton Luz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Real Brasil F.C.'s Wilton Luz got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Rogério Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lenílson Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Alagoano in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Goiás Esporte Clube's 夏天 赵云凡 got a free kick in the 81st minute. Real Brasil F.C.'s Lenílson Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Alagoano in the 86th minute of play. Daniel Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Goiás Esporte Clube manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Real Brasil F.C. to win.
