Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Sebastian Käller started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Italy booed when Sweden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doug Traoré didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sweden's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Enzo Luongo scored to the left of an out of position Gustaf Eklund, making the score, 1-0. Bruno Antognoni came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Sweden's Sebastian Käller. But to his dismay, Sebastian Käller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 16 played minutes Sweden got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Berg. 23 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Pantani threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sweden's Bebben Johansson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Italy's Bruno Antognoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Käller in the 24th minute of play. Gustaf Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Luongo in the 25th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sweden eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
