Lin Yan Hong came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Equipo's Mehat Kovaçi. But to his dismay, Mehat Kovaçi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Lin Yan Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Nevada in the 41st minute of play. After the first half Equipo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Les Tigres's Rodolfo Luken was substituted for Silvano Ihazintu. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Tipi to make the kick off. Mehat Kovaçi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Lin Yan Hong made a huge save. Lin Yan Hong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 61st minute. A collision led to Equipo getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Armando Nevada hit a great ball. Ismael Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvard Võsandi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lin Yan Hong made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Bruno Beugnet sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Bruno Beugnet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lin Yan Hong. The goal made the score 2-3. Ismael Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Ereinotz in the 88th minute of play. Lars Rönn got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Paolo Ereinotz. Les Tigres's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Bruno Beugnet scored to the left of an out of position Lin Yan Hong, making the score, 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Equipo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
