In the 3rd minute, Urban Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralph Siemers kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Filip Pantiș might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Battal Gazi Acabay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Pantiș ran back to his position shaking his head. IFK Kik's Battal Gazi Acabay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save IFK Kik from getting a goal against them. Filip Pantiș in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Battal Gazi Acabay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Siemers in the 17th minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Ionică Corcoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionică Corcoveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasmus Holm in the 18th minute of the match. Battal Gazi Acabay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Pantiș in the 21st minute. Battal Gazi Acabay came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Eintracht Cernavoda's Yin Li Ying. But to his dismay, Yin Li Ying quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 28 minutes into the match, IFK Kik's goalkeeper Battal Gazi Acabay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Pantiș. In the 30th minute Ralph Siemers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Corcoveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urban Magnusson made in the 33rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ralph Siemers. The supporters of Eintracht Cernavoda booed when IFK Kik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guðberg Gudberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Pantiș got free with Battal Gazi Acabay in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Goasdoue in the 42nd minute of play forced IFK Kik's goalkeeper Battal Gazi Acabay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Siemers came free, but Ionică Corcoveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingemar Kvist kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Olly Morgan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ionică Corcoveanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filip Pantiș was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, IFK Kik's Krish Melin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ionică Corcoveanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ralph Siemers came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ionică Corcoveanu could save by the left post. Ionică Corcoveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olly Morgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ionică Corcoveanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ralph Siemers in the 64th minute. The supporters of Eintracht Cernavoda booed when IFK Kik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Wenerdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eintracht Cernavoda's Mikael Isak was substituted for Filip Pantiș. After 67 played minutes IFK Kik got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Wenerdahl. Battal Gazi Acabay came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Eintracht Cernavoda's Philip Walter. But to his dismay, Philip Walter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Eintracht Cernavoda getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ioan Ortacu hit a great ball. IFK Kik made a substitution. Eskil Danielsson replaced Kent Nord. The long shot by Guðberg Gudberg in the 84th minute really tested Ionică Corcoveanu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mikael Isak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Olly Morgan came free, but Ionică Corcoveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, IFK Kik's Guðberg Gudberg got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Mikael Isak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the IFK Kik players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Eintracht Cernavoda.
