Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thiago Gol got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Hekman in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Edgar Reitsema cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luc Van Hinnendael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthijs Ebbinge in the 8th minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SCs StarS's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shen Sang Hao in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago Gol in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luc Van Hinnendael saved FC Bruges from getting behind. In the 17th minute, Matthijs Ebbinge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SCs StarS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 25th minute Shen Shi Mo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Gol in the 27th minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34th play minutes Thiago Gol shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Luc Van Hinnendael and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 37th minute of the match, Shen Sang Hao tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Petr Čech saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shen Shi Mo in the 39th minute of play. Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Shen Sang Hao made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Matthijs Ebbinge cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Luc Van Hinnendael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Antonio Eggers kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shen Sang Hao in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petr Čech saved SCs StarS from getting behind. The throw-in from Philip Verhasselt in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SCs StarS's Edgar Reitsema. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shen Sang Hao in the 74th minute of the match. Shen Sang Hao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petr Čech read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Philip Verhasselt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, SCs StarS's Florian Hekman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luc Van Hinnendael. Luc Van Hinnendael yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 89th minute, Luka Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Bruges getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Philip Verhasselt hit a great ball.
