The corner led to General Tanz II's Evelio Ulizes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. La Mandarina Mecánica's Arnaldo Colas got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Colas in the 18th minute of play forced General Tanz II's goalkeeper Natalio Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Mandarina Mecánica's Elias Leimann was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Natalio Montrel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arsenio Peruanton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jerry Van Hespen made a huge save. General Tanz II's Benigno Tonete came free and shot a quick shot against goal 21 minutes in the game, fortunately Jerry Van Hespen had problems saving as it came toward the left post. General Tanz II were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after La Mandarina Mecánica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gregorio Totakoxe took the corner. The corner ended in Gregorio Totakoxe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Mandarina Mecánica's Jerry Van Hespen did a great save. 26 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Tonete came free, but Jerry Van Hespen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. General Tanz II's Natalio Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fjölnir Bergsson in the 27th minute of play. Natalio Montrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Colas in the 29th minute of the match. When Arnaldo Colas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 29 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Natalio Montrel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 31st minute Reynaldo Gilesindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Van Hespen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Mandarina Mecánica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elias Leimann in the 34th minute. Arnaldo Colas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Arnaldo Colas hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fjölnir Bergsson in the 39th minute of play forced General Tanz II's goalkeeper Natalio Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in General Tanz II's zone, Fjölnir Bergsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natalio Montrel came out of the goal and Fjölnir Bergsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerry Van Hespen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Totakoxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fjölnir Bergsson was the one to do the kick off. Arnaldo Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Natalio Montrel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Colas in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Ulizes in the 57th minute of play forced La Mandarina Mecánica's goalkeeper Jerry Van Hespen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes, Benigno Tonete made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. La Mandarina Mecánica's Jerry Van Hespen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of La Mandarina Mecánica booed when General Tanz II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Gilesindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Montrel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Colas went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute, Benigno Tonete ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerry Van Hespen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 79 minutes of play, General Tanz II's Arsenio Peruanton made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerry Van Hespen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, General Tanz II's goalkeeper Natalio Montrel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Colas. General Tanz II's Natalio Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fjölnir Bergsson in the 87th minute of play. When Andrzej Dziedziak fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Mandarina Mecánica's protests and gave Andrzej Dziedziak a yellow card for diving instead. Andrzej Dziedziak hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Arsenio Peruanton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerry Van Hespen was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. General Tanz II walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
