GENERAL LAVALLE's Ramon Lavalle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Iruinea in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Tomas Lavalle hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalkeeper Ramon Lavalle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 minutes C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tobias Lleir who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalie and right to Nemesio Tebaldo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Haroldo Lavalle charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Lavalle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C.S. y D. The audience was convinced that Efrain Cambiasso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Santo was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Candido Lavalle got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when C.J. McCollum made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Hermengildo Iruinea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramon Lavalle was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Efrain Cambiasso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Marco Santo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ramon Lavalle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Tebaldo in the 58th minute of play. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Morteros's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Candido Lavalle took the corner. Candido Lavalle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 64 minutes into the match, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Iruinea came free, but Ramon Lavalle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Iruinea took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Lavalle. Ramon Lavalle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Morteros's Marco Santo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Morteros from getting a goal against them. Efrain Cambiasso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Marco Santo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 95 minutes into the match, Morteros's goalkeeper Marco Santo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efrain Cambiasso. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
