The A.D.ESMOJÃES fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when A.D.ESMOJÃES's Eduardo Bulhosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Mateus Baldaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, A.D.ESMOJÃES's Eduardo Bulhosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Honorato Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Teobaldo Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Honorato Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolaas Anelka in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éder Palma in the 36th minute of play forced SC Angrense's goalkeeper Honorato Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, A.D.ESMOJÃES's Honorato Alves threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonas Garcia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Cordarrell got free with Laureano Rijo in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolaas Anelka scored 8-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorato Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Garcia in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Alves saved SC Angrense from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Ricardo Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorato Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Garcia in the 82nd minute of play.
