An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmar Roorda in the 38th minute of play forced Desqladores's goalkeeper Baldomiro Isadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Nejat Karasu to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Alvinegro de Tupã's Elmar Roorda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
