Denis Paulin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Denis Paulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattijs Berghmans in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Valhalla Time booed when Defensores de Lombroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Esdras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Defensores de Lombroso's Denis Paulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattijs Berghmans in the 36th minute of play. Mattijs Berghmans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Paulin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Mattijs Berghmans was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricky Lotte was the one to do the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denis Paulin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valhalla Time's Federico Kalinowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Valhalla Time from getting a goal against them. Valentín Barco's late challenge caught a Valhalla Time's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
