After the first half MDQ Raptors FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Järvenperä stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, MDQ Raptors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Bernal came free, but Cosme Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Ursino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Ursino in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roland Delbridge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the MDQ Raptors FC defense, Asiz Soon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Francesco. The MDQ Raptors FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Francesco should have stopped the shot. The MDQ Raptors FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Los Muchachos del 86 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
