The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2ndth minute of the game Zeng Ting Xing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prensadito Fulbo Clu's Ezequiel Ugutz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cesar Miliano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dragomir Marchovski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match, Cesar Miliano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dragomir Marchovski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The nice shot from Cesar Miliano in the 8thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Dragomir Marchovski had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Prensadito Fulbo Clu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexandru Chirilă in the 10th minute. A nice corner shot did that Alexandru Chirilă got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dragomir Marchovski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ezequiel Ugutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costante Segarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Santiago Meruendano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prensadito Fulbo Clu's Ezequiel Ugutz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 20 played minutes Prensadito Fulbo Clu got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Edorta. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Cesar Miliano scored to the left of an out of position Dragomir Marchovski, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Union Y Progreso F.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Santiago Meruendano hit a great ball. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Dragomir Marchovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Miliano in the 28th minute of play. Dragomir Marchovski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Miliano's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Ezequiel Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Meruendano in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Costante Segarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Prensadito Fulbo Clu getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Oscar Quin hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Santiago Meruendano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Meruendano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Ugutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Prensadito Fulbo Clu getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Alexandru Chirilă hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Emenon made a kick off. Santiago Meruendano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Ezequiel Ugutz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Santiago Meruendano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ezequiel Ugutz made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Santiago Meruendano sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Venceslas Pumares in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Prensadito Fulbo Clu's Alexandru Chirilă. Ezequiel Ugutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeng Ting Xing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeng Ting Xings short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Ezequiel Ugutz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 72nd minute, Leonel Emenon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prensadito Fulbo Clu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ezequiel Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costante Segarra in the 77th minute of play. Dragomir Marchovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Emenon in the 80th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Prensadito Fulbo Clu's corner Huang Yan Chuan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dragomir Marchovski quite easily take care of the ball. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Santiago Meruendano managed to work through Prensadito Fulbo Clu's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Santiago Meruendano dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Santiago Meruendano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prensadito Fulbo Clu's attentive Ricardo Edorta managed to snatch the ball when Venceslas Pumares made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. After having played for 94 minutes, Leonel Emenon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prensadito Fulbo Clu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Emenon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 played minutes Prensadito Fulbo Clu got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Edorta. In the 98th minute, Venceslas Pumares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 99th minute Leonel Emenon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragomir Marchovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
