The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Inter MIAMI getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Raimundo Playo hit a great ball. Bradley Barrett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karol Drab read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuralp Başdemir in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karol Drab saved Inter MIAMI from getting behind. Modesto Malvin charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Malvin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Inter MIAMI getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Modesto Malvin hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Nuralp Başdemir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Karol Drab was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nuralp Başdemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter MIAMI's goalkeeper Karol Drab, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guaberto Jacindo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Karol Drab made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Nuralp Başdemir took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Karol Drab to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Nuralp Başdemir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuralp Başdemir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karol Drab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ştefan Pantea during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Inter MIAMI:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Muñes de Don Cuco:s goal. Alex Doe charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 40th minute of the match Quentin Sulser sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baron Buffon skillfully saved the ball. Karol Drab came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Nuralp Başdemir. But to his dismay, Nuralp Başdemir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 48 minutes into the match, Inter MIAMI's goalkeeper Karol Drab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bradley Barrett. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Guillerme to make the kick off. When Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Nuralp Başdemir in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter MIAMI's goalie prevented a goal. Los Muñes de Don Cuco made a substitution. Rien Oss replaced Nuralp Başdemir. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Peyami Hasanbeyli was substituted for Daniel Mateus. A throw-in in the 67th minute of the game was made by Quentin Sulser with Freddy Goi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Inter MIAMI's Quentin Sulser got a free kick in the 71st minute. Los Muñes de Don Cuco made a substitution. Aureliano Cordeiro replaced Guaberto Jacindo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rien Oss in the 73rd minute of play forced Inter MIAMI's goalkeeper Karol Drab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inter MIAMI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alex Doe was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Muñes de Don Cuco's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Inter MIAMI's zone, Rien Oss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karol Drab came out of the goal and Rien Oss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 79 minutes, Basilio Steven made it 8-1 with a short kick to the right side. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Baron Buffon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Baron Buffon made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Modesto Malvin sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Ugutz during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karol Drab came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss. But to his dismay, Rien Oss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. In the 96th minute Rien Oss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Drab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Inter MIAMI defense, Rien Oss kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karol Drab. The Inter MIAMI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karol Drab should have stopped the shot.
