Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loco Durazno in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabiano Pombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the game, λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Rodolfo Gerber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anders Lundqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 23 minutes, Loco Durazno made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Fabiano Pombal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabiano Pombal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loco Durazno went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Elias Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Lundqvist having to interfere. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Fabiano Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 40th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcelo Steven kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabiano Pombal. That made the score 3-1 in the 43 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Valério Silva was substituted for Robinho Porto. Fabiano Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's goalkeeper Fabiano Pombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabiano Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Durazno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's goalkeeper Fabiano Pombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 70 minutes of play, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabiano Pombal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Cosme Larpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosme Larpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cosme Larpe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabiano Pombal having to make a save. 88 minutes into the match, λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's goal looked a bit too open when Burç Tokhan came free, but Fabiano Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Golden Lions FC were awarded a corner. Cosme Larpe went to the cornerflag to take it. Cosme Larpe made a great header on Golden Lions FC's corner, it was just that λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Fabiano Pombal managed to reach the ball for a save. 93 minutes into the match, λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's goal looked a bit too open when Burç Tokhan came free, but Fabiano Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Koehler in the 95th minute of play. With a little luck, Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist got control of the ball when Abelardo Koehler tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 98th minute, André Luís Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Golden Lions FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
