An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Salazar in the 19th minute of play forced AEK S.C's goalkeeper Thanasis Koltsidas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanasis Koltsidas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Kerns in the 22nd minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thalis Krommidas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanasis Koltsidas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Gines in the 51st minute of the match. After 53 minutes AEK S.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leevi Kampman who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Creekers's corner Leevi Kampman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thanasis Koltsidas quite easily take care of the ball. Bryant Miles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vaggelis Mitsiou in the 61st minute. Vaggelis Mitsiou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Bryant Miles made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Carreira in the 63rd minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Bryant Miles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanasis Koltsidas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Gines in the 69th minute of the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Riley Trotter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Riley Trotter took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thanasis Koltsidas. Thanasis Koltsidas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 79 minutes into the game, Sylvesteri Valkama cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Thanasis Koltsidas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Creekers defense, Kevin Carreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bryant Miles. The Creekers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bryant Miles should have stopped the shot. Thanasis Koltsidas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylvesteri Valkama, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute Creekers were awarded a corner. Leevi Kampman went to the cornerflag to take it. Bryant Miles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Hats in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Krommidas came free, but Bryant Miles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes Creekers got a freekick which was hit by Uku Karju. Creekers's Bryant Miles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Hats in the 94th minute of play. AEK S.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
