Maurinho Valadares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 10th minute, Maurinho Valadares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Melquiades Salvatore. The goal made the score 3-0. Anselmo Sarracino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Claudinho Tande put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Severino Rojelio hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Claudinho Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Salvatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurinho Valadares struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Melquiades Salvatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MUSHIBA FC. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Maurinho Valadares hit a great ball. In the 34th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Jaunti to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Salvatore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurinho Valadares in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Valadares in the 39th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Melquiades Salvatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Maurinho Valadares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maurinho Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Melquiades Salvatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho Tande took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Salvatore. Melquiades Salvatore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Melquiades Salvatore came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by MUSHIBA FC's Maurinho Valadares. But to his dismay, Maurinho Valadares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when MUSHIBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Salvatore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurinho Valadares went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. MUSHIBA FC's Toninho Matos was substituted for Norberto Miranda. 67 minutes into the game, MUSHIBA FC's Tiaguinho Luz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Salvatore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Dida Mesquita got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 71 played minutes, Club Atlético Atlanta's Severino Huly shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper João Augusto Quintal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Atlanta reached it. After 74 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Figueiredo. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Tiaguinho Luz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Salvatore should have stopped the shot. Melquiades Salvatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Tiaguinho Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Salvatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MUSHIBA FC's Tiaguinho Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natã Paiva during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Natã Paiva got a free kick in the 90th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atlético Atlanta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MUSHIBA FC.
