The referee ignored Knight Of Dawn's protests and gave Rodrigo Poncio a yellow card for diving instead. GuateFortín's David Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Poncio in the 36th minute of play. Saturnino Urritz charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Urritz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Knight Of Dawn's Saturnino Urritz got a free kick in the 37th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Hinguanzo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Baraquiel in the 56th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper David Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Poncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. David Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teobaldo Damario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Torres having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Alonzo Alvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Torres was relentless in the 67th minute of the game.
