In the 4th minute, Angel-Clemente Rojas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Melquiades Salvatore. The goal made the score 1-0. Hugo Jerrold lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atlético Atlanta! The Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Nunez Arias looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Melquiades Salvatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Barros Schelloto in the 15th minute of play. Nunez Ariass short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Melquiades Salvatore to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 22nd minute, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Angel-Clemente Rojas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Salvatore. Melquiades Salvatore yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Dalmacio Quirze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Melquiades Salvatore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nunez Arias. In the 31st minute, Salvador Honesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Angel-Clemente Rojas in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Melquiades Salvatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel-Clemente Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Angel-Clemente Rojas took the corner. 42 minutes into the match, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Angel-Clemente Rojas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Salvatore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Melquiades Salvatore came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Nunez Arias. But to his dismay, Nunez Arias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel-Clemente Rojas was the one to do the kick off. Melquiades Salvatore came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Angel-Clemente Rojas. But to his dismay, Angel-Clemente Rojas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Nunez Arias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Salvatore should have stopped the shot. Angel-Clemente Rojas took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Salvatore. Melquiades Salvatore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Melquiades Salvatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Arias in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Honesto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Barros Schelloto in the 74th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Melquiades Salvatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nunez Arias took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Salvatore. Melquiades Salvatore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. A collision led to Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Erubiel Beltran hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Matias Barros Schelloto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Salvatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Angel-Clemente Rojas hit a great ball. After 89 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Jaunti. In the 91st match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Librado to maneuver through the defense. Nunez Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Melquiades Salvatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Nunez Arias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Nunez Arias got a free kick in the 93rd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ had played much better football throughout.
