When Frank Meyer fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.D. Bajen's protests and gave Frank Meyer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Frank Meyer got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 15 played minutes Montevideo got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Nunes. In the 17th minute, S.D. Bajen's Jamel Boyd dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Jamel Boyd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Montevideo booed when S.D.
