Waud De Geyter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tran Vrolijcx in the 10th minute of the match. Bror Litenboks kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Laurence Soens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrik Ooms charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrik Ooms the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, Silver Squad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Ooms to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Silver Squad AFC's Izydor Czysta got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Jordi Paschiers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waud De Geyter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tran Vrolijcx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waud De Geyter was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tran Vrolijcx in the 31st minute of play. Waud De Geyter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ad Fundum's Jarno Van Dyck got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Manfred Bruse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tran Vrolijcx came free, but Waud De Geyter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damazy Radzyminski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Fryderyk Mondrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamiel Ingelborgh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waud De Geyter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarno Van Dyck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Silver Squad AFC's Damazy Radzyminski in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Waud De Geyter came out of the goal and Jarno Van Dyck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
