The audience thought a goal was coming when Szymon Pincoski got free with Lu Li Yu in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lu Li Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Gorzkiewicz in the 22nd minute of play. If Pavel Sedlák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorin Cărtărescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes 100 got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Okopny. Zbyszko Spychalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uluç Enfal, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Sacha Lilley took the corner. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Szymon Pincoski kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, 100's goal looked a bit too open when Uluç Enfal came free, but Zbyszko Spychalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lu Li Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Gorzkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, 100's goalkeeper Zbyszko Spychalski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pavel Sedlák.
