Lech Pisarcik was slow to take the kick. During this time Poland's players had a chance to rest. Damazy Joks might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cãlin Damaschin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damazy Joks ran back to his position shaking his head. Cãlin Damaschin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damazy Joks in the 10th minute. Marin Lipets made in the 14th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Denis Lazãr however managed to control. Daniel Kieca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Perju in the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Leonid Afteni came free, but Daniel Kieca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moldova's Cãlin Damaschin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Moldova from getting a goal against them. Daniel Kieca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Lazãr, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Damazy Joks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cãlin Damaschin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Cãlin Damaschin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Damazy Joks showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Poland's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lech Pisarcik in the 31st minute. Olgierd Literski made a great header on Poland's corner, it was just that Moldova's Cãlin Damaschin managed to reach the ball for a save. After 33 minutes Moldova's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lech Pisarcik who took care of the corner kick. Damazy Joks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Damazy Joks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cãlin Damaschin having to make a save. Cãlin Damaschin made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Damazy Joks sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Poland's Damazy Joks ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cãlin Damaschin. Cãlin Damaschin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Poland's Daniel Kieca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Perju in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damazy Joks in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cãlin Damaschin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Daniel Perju put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Kieca. In the 56th minute, Damazy Joks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cãlin Damaschin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Dawidowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 58th minute, Pawel Dawidowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cãlin Damaschin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Emil Gonta hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Moldova made a substitution. Vitalie Cotofanã replaced Emil Gonta. Poland's Gilbert Cipinski was substituted for Pawel Dawidowicz. Poland's Feliks Wojton was substituted for Damazy Joks. In the 66th match minute, Moldova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Gonta to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Kieca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Perju, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute of the match Moldova got a corner. Poland's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Grisha Mbappè ran over to the corner to take the kick. Grisha Mbappè made a great header on Moldova's corner, it was just that Poland's Daniel Kieca managed to reach the ball for a save. Grisha Mbappè was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Moldova's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gilbert Cipinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cãlin Damaschin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Moldova's Vitalie Cotofanã got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Poland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Grisha Mbappè was slow to take the kick. During this time Moldova's players had a chance to rest. Octavian Eremciuc was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Daniel Kieca came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Moldova's Grisha Mbappè. But to his dismay, Grisha Mbappè quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliks Wojton in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cãlin Damaschin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vitalie Cotofanã kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Poland fans cheered their team off the field, for while Moldova had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
