In the 15th minute of the match Alemannia Aachen got a corner. Soroca F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Messi to make the kick off. Cristiano Messi took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Armani. Armando Armani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Adrián Espadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Alemannia Aachen's Valter Xabat in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Armando Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Leers, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Soroca F.C.'s Armando Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Messi in the 62nd minute of play. Soroca F.C.'s Godofredo Quilino was substituted for Christian Gagriel. A collision led to Alemannia Aachen getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Aulis Salomaa hit a great ball. A long shot from Zézinho Neiva in the 75th minute of play was well struck, but Jess Carnduff made a really good save at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Alemannia Aachen's zone, Răzvan Necula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jess Carnduff came out of the goal and Răzvan Necula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Răzvan Necula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Armando Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Leers, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Răzvan Necula notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff. Jess Carnduff was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 93 minutes Alemannia Aachen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zézinho Neiva who took care of the corner kick. Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jess Carnduff in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 94 played minutes Soroca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Beltxe. Alemannia Aachen's Lech Wawrukiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alemannia Aachen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Soroca F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
