After 20 minutes of play, Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corneliu Vulpăşin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Unicorns ™ booed when Skövde AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Lönn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Skövde AIK from getting a goal against them. Corneliu Vulpăşin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chen Ao Fan went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Chen Ao Fan might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corneliu Vulpăşin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chen Ao Fan ran back to his position shaking his head. Chen Ao Fan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corneliu Vulpăşin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Corneliu Vulpăşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chen Ao Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Skövde AIK were awarded a corner. Henrik Lönn went to the cornerflag to take it. 40 minutes into the game, Chen Ao Fan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Corneliu Vulpăşin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chen Ao Fan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, Marin Tufescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Karl-Erik Norström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marin Tufescu made a kick off. When Kevin Keegan came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Skövde AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Keegan couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the game, Chen Ao Fan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Corneliu Vulpăşin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the match, Chen Ao Fan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Corneliu Vulpăşin, 1-6. Corneliu Vulpăşin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chen Ao Fan went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute, Chen Ao Fan made a precise shot to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. Chen Ao Fan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to make a save. 71 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corneliu Vulpăşin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mihail Bratiloveanu's late challenge caught a Skövde AIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihail Bratiloveanu helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 minutes of play, Skövde AIK's Calle Melberg made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corneliu Vulpăşin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chen Ao Fan. In the 82nd minute, Chen Ao Fan made a precise shot to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-10. In the 84th minute, Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-11. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Chen Ao Fan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skövde AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Chen Ao Fan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corneliu Vulpăşin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 minutes of play Unicorns ™'s Mihail Bratiloveanu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When the match was over Skövde AIK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Unicorns ™ throughout the match.
