Alfredo Aguilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Junyent in the 8th minute of play. Edmund Lidberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfredo Aguilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Villalobos in the 15th minute of the match. Min Beltranilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Gora in the 17th minute of play. A hard shot 19 in the game by Roque Gora from a close distance when the talented Min Beltranilla managed to make a qualified save. 25 de Noviembre FBC's players were relieved. Edmund Lidberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Min Beltranilla skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 22 minutes of play, 25 de Noviembre FBC's Rodrigo Junyent made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Aguilar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adam Bareiro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in 25 de Noviembre FBC's zone, Nelson Haedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Min Beltranilla came out of the goal and Nelson Haedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the game, Xosepe Salomon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 25 de Noviembre FBC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Olimpia the free kick. Club Olimpia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Bareiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Adam Bareiro made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Junyent during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to 25 de Noviembre FBC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rodrigo Junyent hit a great ball. Min Beltranilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Haedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, 25 de Noviembre FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Gora came free, but Min Beltranilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 de Noviembre FBC's Min Beltranilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Haedo in the 68th minute of play. Egun Jordana charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egun Jordana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when 25 de Noviembre FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position.
