Ivan Florescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Tzvetoslav Desov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hristo Stoichkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brun O'Down having to interfere. 5 minutes into the game, Ivan Florescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC BaLiSt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SvE United the free kick. A collision led to FC BaLiSt getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ivan Florescu hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthoon Verduin during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anthoon Verduin hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Vitko Kozlov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tzvetoslav Desov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Greavu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Hristo Stoichkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brun O'Down saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, FC BaLiSt's goal looked a bit too open when Hristo Stoichkov came free, but Brun O'Down reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brun O'Down showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hristo Stoichkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Olimpiu Mercescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Tzvetoslav Desov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tzvetoslav Desov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vic Angelsø in the 25th minute of play. SvE United's Tzvetoslav Desov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Florescu in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitko Kozlov in the 42nd minute of play forced FC BaLiSt's goalkeeper Brun O'Down to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC BaLiSt's Claudiu Cârțan got a free kick in the 44th minute. Brun O'Down took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hristo Stoichkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vic Angelsø to strike the kick off in the second half. Brun O'Down showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Kleen in the 55th minute of the match. Hristo Stoichkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Vic Angelsø had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tzvetoslav Desov. SvE United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vic Angelsø was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Brun O'Down made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthoon Verduin in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute SvE United were awarded a corner. Jonny Kleen went to the cornerflag to take it. The FC BaLiSt fans cheered their team off the field, for while SvE United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
