Joel Caton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Cordara in the 8th minute of play. Atilano Rojas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Llorenc having to make a save. Quebrachitos FC's Pontus Forssell managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zabal Ingueros in the 11 minute of the game. Alfredo Llorenc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Rojas in the 14th minute of the match. Alfredo Llorenc was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Atilano Rojas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Atilano Rojas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Zabal Ingueros with Jiang Gang as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 18th minute Leonel Cordara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Caton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Loja S.C. defense, Serafin Gorbea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Caton. The Loja S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Caton should have stopped the shot. Leonel Cordara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Caton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes Loja S.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roland Bobrowski who took care of the corner kick. Quebrachitos FC's Alfredo Llorenc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Christobal in the 34th minute of play. Joel Caton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonel Cordara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 70 minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's Leonel Cordara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Caton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Quebrachitos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roland Bobrowski in the 75th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Loja S.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Quebrachitos FC. Roland Bobrowski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joel Caton. 2-5. Quebrachitos FC played a much better game than Loja S.C. and deserved their victory. The Loja S.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
