An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Tirso in the 7th minute of play forced Grêmio Imortal's goalkeeper Francisco Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Pascual Bernat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ernesto Guevara SyD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Bernat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Araújo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Mikolas in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Beto Almada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Vinicio Rodriguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Tirso got free with Francisco Araújo in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Imortal's Fábio Lago got a free kick in the 30th minute. Francisco Araújo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beto Almada showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. If Pascual Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Ernesto Guevara SyD's Aquiles Mikolas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisco Araújo. Francisco Araújo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Francisco Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Almada in the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Ernesto Guevara SyD booed when Grêmio Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Beto Almada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ernesto Guevara SyD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dudu Gomes to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Ernesto Guevara SyD's Marcos Tirso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Araújo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Marcos Tirso kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 56th play minutes Beto Almada shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Francisco Araújo and just under the crossbar into goal. Francisco Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Bernat in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Grêmio Imortal's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Mikolas came free, but Francisco Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ernesto Guevara SyD booed when Grêmio Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio Imortal's zone, Marcos Tirso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Araújo came out of the goal and Marcos Tirso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 66 minutes of play, Grêmio Imortal's Dudu Gomes made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salvador Gorosti was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Grêmio Imortal defense, Pascual Bernat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Araújo. The Grêmio Imortal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Araújo should have stopped the shot. Grêmio Imortal's Francisco Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Almada in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ernesto Guevara SyD's goalkeeper Salvador Gorosti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 76 minutes Ernesto Guevara SyD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amílton Recife who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Imortal's Fábio Lago got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Beto Almada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ernesto Guevara SyD's supporters rose to their feet, but Beto Almada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute Beto Almada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Pascual Bernat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Araújo was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. In the 88th minute, Marcos Tirso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ernesto Guevara SyD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-1. Marcos Tirso scored 11-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Araújo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Marcos Tirso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Araújo. Grêmio Imortal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Tirso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-1. There was no doubt that Ernesto Guevara SyD were the better team. Ernesto Guevara SyD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
