Alejo Etor might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benê Goiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Fernando Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Etor in the 44th minute of play forced 20 DE SETEMBRO's goalkeeper Benê Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurinho Tróia to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Luiz Fernando Branco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aaron Criston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SuperChango's Constantino Quilino got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind 20 DE SETEMBRO's goalkeeper Benê Goiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute SuperChango were awarded a corner. Dionysis Roubos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led SuperChango's Constantino Quilino to fire away a dangerous shot which Benê Goiano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Aaron Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, SuperChango could leave the field as winners, despite 20 DE SETEMBRO having more of the ball for most of the match.
