When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Viator made a kick off. Perros del sur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uriel Ferrer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jose Eriz's late challenge caught a Defensores de Lombroso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Silviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Paulin having to interfere. Perros del sur's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Grzegorz Czermak hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Eulalio Faron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Defensores de Lombroso's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
