Patagonia's attentive Ruben Iztal managed to snatch the ball when Victorio Ospin made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Evangelista got free with Tobias Faro in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Deportivo El Palomar's Felipe Emmanuel in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Social y Dep. Jesus Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Mac Clure in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo El Palomar getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Victorio Evangelista hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Lorenzo Rosas sped through Deportivo El Palomar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jesus Quinten. Tobias Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Emmanuel in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Renato Mac Clure got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesus Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Rosas in the 35th minute of the match. If Lorenzo Rosas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Quinten came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Social y Dep. Patagonia's Lorenzo Rosas. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Rosas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Rosas in the 42nd minute of play forced Deportivo El Palomar's goalkeeper Jesus Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Social y Dep. Patagonia's zone, Felipe Emmanuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Faro came out of the goal and Felipe Emmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Renato Mac Clure sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Quinten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lorenzo Rosas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jesus Quinten came out and tried to block the shot, but Lorenzo Rosas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 75th minute. Lorenzo Rosas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Jesus Quinten made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, Social y Dep. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Emmanuel came free, but Tobias Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Social y Dep. Patagonia defense, Felipe Emmanuel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Faro. The Social y Dep. Patagonia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Faro should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Rosas got free with Jesus Quinten in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Renato Mac Clure's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Quinten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Tobias Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Emmanuel in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Emmanuel in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Faro saved Social y Dep. Patagonia from getting behind. Tobias Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Perpinya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Iztal's late challenge caught a Deportivo El Palomar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Iztal helped the player get up and apologised. Ruben Iztal hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Emmanuel in the 97th minute of play forced Social y Dep. Patagonia's goalkeeper Tobias Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Social y Dep. Patagonia were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Deportivo El Palomar side.
