Jarrod Leary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Modestio in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs's zone, Dave Sylvester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batt Man came out of the goal and Dave Sylvester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Pascual Modestio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrod Leary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson got free with Batt Man in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgard Satordi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Grant Grant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 97th minute of the match Peter Hood sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Batt Man skillfully saved the ball. ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Racing Miami Futbol Club had controlled the match.
