PACYN's Lukasz Milan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Johan Kjellqvist in the 2nd minute of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Beltran De Paula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCSB CUENCA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beltran De Paula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute, Dawid Kolacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match, Dawid Kolacki got a very nice opportunity to score, but 史默晨 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of FCSB CUENCA booed when PACYN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Hetman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dawid Kolacki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but 史默晨 made a huge save. Lukasz Milan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beltran De Paula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, 史默晨 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 31 minutes FCSB CUENCA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dawid Kolacki who took care of the corner kick. Bambang Czarny was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 35th minute of the match, Alessandro Del Piero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 史默晨 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lukasz Milan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelayo Contratas in the 37th minute of the match. Lukasz Milan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Estefan, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Lukasz Milan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dario Estefan went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pelayo Contratas to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birger Juhlin during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Birger Juhlin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in PACYN's zone, Pelayo Contratas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukasz Milan came out of the goal and Pelayo Contratas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PACYN's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Pelayo Contratas scored to the left of an out of position Lukasz Milan, making the score, 0-5. Dario Estefan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lukasz Milan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Bambang Czarny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 史默晨 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Alessandro Del Piero sped through FCSB CUENCA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 史默晨. The FCSB CUENCA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FCSB CUENCA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
