Brad Ridding's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dobri Koks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The corner ended in Teobaldo Bayo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MATRIX TEAM's Tobiasz Niedzwiecki did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oto Mur in the 27th minute of play forced MATRIX TEAM's goalkeeper Tobiasz Niedzwiecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as MATRIX TEAM's Sylwester Kolano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dobri Koks. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. 33 minutes into the match, MATRIX TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Oto Mur came free, but Tobiasz Niedzwiecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juliszew SSA's Dobri Koks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Kolano in the 36th minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, Juliszew SSA's Oto Mur made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobiasz Niedzwiecki was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute, MATRIX TEAM's Sylwester Kolano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oto Mur to strike the kick off in the second half.
