Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute Donato Nalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reginaldo Gonçalves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Melquiades Salvatore skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Melquiades Salvatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xande Real in the 15th minute of the match. Club Atlético Atlanta were furious when Severino Rojelio was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Melquiades Salvatore, was totally fooled by Carrapichel - FDFDF's Rogério Alcântara, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Melquiades Salvatore didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Carrapichel - FDFDF's Reginaldo Gonçalves shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Xande Real blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Salvatore having to make a save. Melquiades Salvatore was a little too slow when Xande Real got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reginaldo Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Salvatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo Gonçalves in the 55th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Xande Real sped through Club Atlético Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. Carrapichel - FDFDF made a substitution. Beto Cavalcante replaced Abel de Barros. Carrapichel - FDFDF made a substitution. David Fernandes replaced Xande Real. Carrapichel - FDFDF's David Fernandes managed to work through Club Atlético Atlanta's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. David Fernandes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Beto Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Salvatore having to interfere. Melquiades Salvatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Neto in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Fernandes in the 81st minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Melquiades Salvatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Fernandes took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Salvatore. Melquiades Salvatore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. In the 93rd minute, Beto Cavalcante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Salvatore was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Rogério Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Salvatore having to interfere. David Fernandes scored 12-0 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Salvatore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Carrapichel - FDFDF fully deserved thier win.
