The Playa Malvín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ivan Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gamus Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Fred Åkerström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Luis Mejía was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gonzalo Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Nisio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Åkerström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luis Mejía made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Fred Åkerström sent off a good shot on target. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Nisio in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Playa Malvín booed when ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Odol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Niva Espellosa replaced Fred Åkerström. Playa Malvín's Arlo Huberto was substituted for Sesuldo Roque. In the 67th minute, Godfredo Odol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Adan Sengrat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute Adan Sengrat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 minutes of play, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Gegë Hysi made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
