When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Jerzy Tamulewicz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Damazy Kensicki to make any attempt to save it. 30 minutes in the game Robert Kon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Koti Kot. Damazy Kensicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Tamulewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kasper Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Limanowski in the 37th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Tamulewicz came free, but Damazy Kensicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Koti Kot was the one to do the kick off.
