Pura Arte F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Premier FC the free kick. In the 4th minute of the match Paulo José Vianna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Válter Trancoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Afonsinho Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter Trancoso having to interfere. Falcão Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Aloísio Eger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pura Arte F.C. In the 17th minute Falcão Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmundo Ceresso during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pura Arte F.C booed when Premier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Eger having to interfere. Válter Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Xavier in the 28th minute of play. Válter Trancoso came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Premier FC's Afonsinho Paiva. But to his dismay, Afonsinho Paiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonsinho Paiva in the 33rd minute of play forced Pura Arte F.C's goalkeeper Válter Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aloísio Eger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel Barral in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Pura Arte F.C's Frédson Paulista got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Marcel Barral's late challenge caught a Premier FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Barral helped the player get up and apologised. Válter Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Falcão Mendonça made a kick off. After 57 played minutes Pura Arte F.C got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Moura. With an all-out effort, Premier FC's Válter Trancoso threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Santana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Premier FC's Oswaldo Alvarenga got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Premier FC's zone, Zé Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Eger came out of the goal and Zé Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Falcão Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Pura Arte F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falcão Mendonça couldn't finish the play. Válter Trancoso made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Afonsinho Paiva sent off a good shot on target. After 68 minutes, Falcão Mendonça made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Premier FC's Aloísio Eger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Mendonça in the 73rd minute of play forced Premier FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Mendonça hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Aloísio Eger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pura Arte F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
