Julio Ibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Orti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Julian Unax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Ibon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Orti in the 24th minute of play. Feliciano Orti took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Ibon. Julio Ibon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Alvaro Elija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angel Peruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Dončić in the 30th minute of the match. Atlético Rovesco's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jimeno Montay in the 32nd minute. The corner led Atlético Rovesco's Jimeno Montay to fire away a dangerous shot which Angel Peruzzi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julian Unax struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Julio Ibon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BATIgol FC. In the 35th minute Alvaro Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Atlético Rovesco defense, Julian Unax kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Ibon. The Atlético Rovesco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Ibon should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Luka Dončić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Peruzzi was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Dončić in the 47th minute of play forced BATIgol FC's goalkeeper Angel Peruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, BATIgol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Orti to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luka Dončić made a kick off. Atlético Rovesco's Julio Ibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Unax in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Atlético Rovesco booed when BATIgol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seb Marud didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Alvaro Elija recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Ibon. Alvaro Elija showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Angel Peruzzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luka Dončić's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Luka Dončić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Rovesco's supporters rose to their feet, but Luka Dončić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Peruzzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Vicente Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute Julian Unax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Atlético Rovesco's Julio Ibon got control of the ball when Alvaro Elija tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as BATIgol FC's Feliciano Orti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Ibon. That made the score 1-6 after 82 minutes of play. Alvaro Elija took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Ibon. Atlético Rovesco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, Atlético Rovesco's Luka Dončić made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angel Peruzzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jimeno Montay took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angel Peruzzi.
