An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel-Omar Bati in the 37th minute of play forced Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper João Pedro Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Couto Mixto F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Leite. When Edgar Soliwoda came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Jataiense Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Soliwoda couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Candido Urbes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Wanderson Goiano in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Couto Mixto F.C.'s Arthur Blain. Candido Urbes kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Giro Escurza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Candido Urbes went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Jataiense Futebol Clube made a substitution. Meta Noia replaced Marián De Bruyne. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Eneko Quesada was substituted for Rubén Barrientos. Ricardo Centurión charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Centurión the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Couto Mixto F.C. booed when Jataiense Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 91 minutes of play, Couto Mixto F.C.'s Eneko Quesada made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Pedro Coutinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jataiense Futebol Clube's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
